Yearling feeder steers and heifers 25.00 to 30.00 lower. Moderate demand for the limited offering of steer and heifer calves, the flesh condition of this week's calves was heavier and not as attractive. Moderate demand for yearling steers and heifers. CME Feeder Cattle futures limit lower today, Live Cattle 5.00 to 10.00 lower, set a negative tone for the feeder cattle market today. Cattle feeders are now facing much uncertainty over how low futures contracts will continue to go. This had a huge effect on the market at the auction today. There were big strings of yearling offered in full loads and multiple load lots, flesh condition ranged from moderate to heavy, the fleshy cattle were hard to sell. The market was active on the attractive fleshed cattle but buyers are very approaching the market very cautiously.
