Market report for Tuesday, February 10, 2026
Data sourced from USDA AMS
View USDA PDF VersionCompared to last week: Feeder steers traded 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers traded mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Not enough comparable sales on steer or heifer calves but a sharply higher undertone was noted. Trading activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand. Quality was plain to attractive, with flesh being the largest determinant on price. Slaughter cows and bulls were too lightly tested for a market trend but a slightly lower undertone was noted. Temperatures have been in the upper 60's and 70's, but a cold front moving through today has provided a chance of moisture to the trading area later this week.
