Compared to last week: Feeder steers over 850lbs 5.00-11.00 higher, under 850lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 6.00 higher. Steer calves 5.00-10.00 higher. Heifer calves 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter cows 5.00-6.00 higher. Lean cows 5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 2.00 higher. The feeder market continues to show very strong demand as most of Oklahoma received beneficial rainfall over the past week. However, about 25% of the state remains in extreme drought conditions. For the first time in this report, 3 weight steer calves averaged over 7.00 per pound. CME futures are trading in the green this morning, with April Live Cattle at 250.
