View USDA PDF VersionCompared to the last sale three weeks ago, steer calves sold 10.00 to 20.00 higher, yearlings steady to 5.00 higher. Heifers 20.00 to 30.00 higher. Slaughter cows 8.00 to 10.00 higher. The local cash trade had no trouble catching up with the continuously surging feeder market after a short winter break. Several larger local reputation consignments were in town this week which gave buyers some numbers to build around. Quality was outstanding for most of the day. Supply moderate, demand good to very good.
