Light weight steers 350 lbs and under were sharply higher, while the 400-600 lbs steers were mostly steady with a good supply and good demand for weaned and harder conditioned calves. Yearling steers appeared firm but with limited head to head comparisons. Feeder heifers 450 lbs and under were sharply higher with strong demand, while 500-600 lbs heifers were mostly steady. Slaughter cows were steady to 4.00 higher with a good supply, while slaughter bulls were steady to 5.00 higher with strong demand for the higher dressing bulls.
