Ogallala, Nebraska

This week's auction comprised of a large supply of weaned and bawling fall calves with some yearling feeders in the run. Some consignments are selling due to the recent fires in the area as grass resources are gone along with baled hay supplies. Drought conditions prevail in the area. Quite a few of the cattle were green (light) fleshed through out the day. Compared to two weeks ago feeders and grass cattle showed a higher undertone in almost all classes.
