Special Feeder Cattle Sale - - Compared to the feeder calf auction 2 weeks ago, 550 lb steer calves were 5.00 to 12.00 higher, 600 - 750 lb calves were steady with a lower undertone and heavier weight yearling steer cattle were 6.00 to 9.00 higher. Heifer trade saw 450 - 700 lb calves 6.00 to 20.00 higher with heavier yearling heifers steady to 10.00 higher. Today's consignments saw many packages of green, home-raised and LTW'd feeder calves. Internet bidding was very active for today's moderate supply. Demand was very good as calves are headed to grass. The next scheduled feeder calf special is April 23
