With limited comparisons to last week feeder steers under 500 lbs sold 5.00 to 20.00 lower steers over 500 lbs sold 15.00 to 20.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold uneven from 10.00 lower to 20.00 higher with the most emphasis put on the replacemanet quality heifers that buyers put a premium on. Extreme drought conditions in the area continuing on the the national drought monitor and limited grass availability for the spring grazing has producers hesitant to purchase grazing cattle. Slaughter cows sold 15.00 to 20.00 higher and slaughter bulls were mostly 20.00 higher. Supply was good demand was moderate to good and buyer attendence was good.
