Compared to last sale: Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 4.00 higher. Steer calves 5.00-8.00 higher. Heifer calves too light to test but slightly lower undertone noted. Quality average to attractive. Demand strong. CME feeder futures board closed down 2.50 today. Cooler temperatures and high winds moved into the region. Wildfires still continue to burn throughout the area prompting more than half of BCS employees to disperse and help battle the blazes. Minimal rain in the forecast, burn bans remain in effect.
